My Story
My name is Grace Chikelu-Amamilo, an HCPC-registered physiotherapist on a mission to empower the next generation of immigrant physiotherapists and physiotherapy assistants in the UK.
I came to the UK as a young immigrant girl with a learning disability who struggled to settle into the UK’s educational system. It was a lonely journey filled with so many unpleasant experiences. Still, my story is how I understand what disadvantaged immigrants who may not have English as their first language go through to become qualified healthcare experts. I have since worked in several countries including the US and UAE and finally settled in the UK over ten years ago as a practising physiotherapist.
In 2020, my passion for service metamorphosed into Grace2Excell, a practical training and consultancy platform where I help aspiring and practising physiotherapists and professionals use their skills to improve the quality of their lives by becoming fully licensed physiotherapists in the UK.
Our services include physiotherapy courses, professional licensing application assistance (HCPC registration), NHS job profile reviews, interview preparation assistance, physiotherapy CV reviews and general physiotherapy guidance.
I went the hard and lonely route to get where I am today as a licensed immigrant physiotherapist but I’m here to help you do it the easy way, even if you don’t have a degree.
